ON THE ROLE OF STANDARDIZATION IN IMPROVING FORENSIC SERVICES IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The paper examines the issues of standardization in forensic practice, and the potential for its application in the process of quality assurance when assessing the performance of private and state employed forensic examiners. The author proposes ways to incorporate standardization into forensic practice through relevant legislative improvements.
