Professional and scientific life

  • from 2002 till present – Deputy (First Deputy) Director of the Russian Federal Centre of Forensic Science of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
  • 2021-2023 – Director of the Russian Federal Centre of Forensic Science of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
  • from 2022 till present – Acting Head of the Department of Forensic Expertology of the All-Russian State University of Justice;
  • from 2006 till present – Professor of the Department "Security in the Digital World" of Bauman Moscow State Technical University;
  • 2008 – acquired the title of Professor in the specialty "Criminal procedure; criminalistics and forensic science; criminal intelligence";
  • 2002 – defense of a doctoral thesis on the topic "Conceptual framework of the forensic computer and technical examination";
  • until 2002 – service in scientific positions in the forensic center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Scientific interests

Introduction of modern techniques for forensic experts’ job management into practice; formation and development of new kinds (types) of forensic examinations, in particular forensic computer analysis; solving problems of informatization of forensic activities; development of current scientific problems of interdisciplinary integration of expert research.

Awards

Medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree; Diploma of the Government of the Russian Federation; departmental awards of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice of Russia, including the medal of Anatoly Koni, badge "Honorary Worker of Justice", veteran of the Ministry of Justice of Russia.
