Abstract

Legal and scienti!c analysis of the forms of applying special knowledge in the investigation of environmental crimes was carried out to provide a rationale for the proposed classi!cation of environmental forensics investigations in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The paper de!nes the subject and objects of environmental forensics investigations, which are treated as separate types of forensic inquiry.
