Рассмотрены сильные и слабые стороны каждого из подходов и обозначен наиболее целесообразный вектор совершенствования математического обеспечения процесса интерпретации результатов в судебно-экспертных исследованиях</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>A short historical survey was carried out to compare different statistical approaches used in the field of forensics for the evaluation of individual features or sets of features, as well as the results of comparative examinations.
